Heads up to everyone out there...
Things are starting to pick up on the market... Housing... On demand.... flights in general. Hopefully this industry blows open in the near future and we're all back to work!

I fly for a 135 on-demand company. August has been our best month this year; specifically the past week and a half. Next month is starting to look pretty good already. I, too, think it is starting to turn SLOWLY!

its def coming back, and just to stick it to the idiot on the other post, THERE IS A FLIGHT SCHOOL HIRING IN NORTHERN NJ!!! IF YOU LIVE IN NJ AND WANT A CFI JOB GOTO SUSSEX AIRPORT KFWN AND STOP IN BLUE MAX AVIATION, HE IS HIRING!! HE LOST HIS MEDICAL AND RIGHT NOW CANT EVEN DO ANY LESSONS BECAUSE HE CAN NOT FIND A CFI!! IF YOU WALKED IN YOU PROL WOULD BE HIRED RIGHT AWAY!! so get on it guys and get that cfi job its like 20 bux an hour, and HE HAS NOONE TO TEACH RIGHT NOW!!!!!! HE LOST HIS MEDICAL AND HAS STUDENTS W NO CFI, so hes been dying to find a cfi, just make sure you seriously pre flight that 172 well! if you get the job, and like it, be sure to stop in the dropzone and thank me, rick!

I admire everyone's optimism here. Research has proven that optimists live longer than pessimists. So if things don't change, atleast you will outlive your "other" counterparts.
With that said, get youselves ready for some hiring come spring 2010. It might not be as much as before considering the furloughed guys on the streets, but it will be some nevertheless.
