Have three years as a 737 captain, but would really love to be a DC6 flight engineer again. Or a C46 copilot, and I did load the aircraft, alone, by myself:)

You have the right stuff!!!

Forget the NAC B737, You need to fly the DC6 and C46 to truely call yourself a pilot in AK. These great airplane will not be around for ever so take the chance and fly them now. You will love it.

They aren't around at NAC anymore, Everts and a handful of operators at Palmer still have C-46s (Everts also has the last DC-6 fleet). There's also Brooke's Air Fuel in FAI (Part 91/125 Fuel Hauling) which runs DC-4s.
