You might want to move this thread to the regional forum as you will get the answers to your question from current employees such as JUICE!

If we're not hiring immediately, we will be hiring in a few months as we start to ramp up for the new aircraft deliveries that will start mid-late next year. It will probably start of with a lot of recommendations, and when we run out of those, they'll grab off the street.

In the requirements, they forgot to mention ability to accept low pay. Janitors make more than pilots, how is that possible?

I'm just a CFI, but I believe it's because janitors don't ***** themselves out to "live the dream"?

First rule. Never trust a pilot when they tell you anything about their company. Most of us have heard it second hand or are just guessing.

On that note, when I was in ground a few weeks ago the CP said that we would be running an FO class in January.

Also, refer to rule number one. It was heard first hand but I still wouldnt read too much into it.

I don't work for Colgan, but here is the info I got...

Colgan Air will be starting to hire 158 pilots in the spring of 2010 for classes starting in May. Colgan Air is NOT hiring pilots at this time, but accepting applications.
