Florida West doesn't hire commuters, so you need to live in South Florida. They fly 14-15 days per month, mostly trips to South America & Europe, with occasional flights to LAX. All B-767F, start as F/O, slow upgrade.

I ran into someone that said Florida West had interviews about a week to two weeks ago. Does anyone know if they hires the 12 people (6 crews) they were looking for, or did they just take all the Arrow 757 guys, and put them on their 767.

The last time I spoke to somebody from Florida West, he said that they had only 2 B767 and one of them was in maintenance..
I hope I was was told wrong....... Anyways give it a try, there are not too many options at this time here in the states.

They do have 2 767-300 but they fly a ton of trips most are day in and day out trips .they have been around for a long time and are good people . they fly cargo out of kmia and are always full trips . they are one of the only cargo companys in miami that dont lay pilots off like arrow and the others . good luck maybe you can get on with them not a bad gig at low .
