Default Skywest Hiring..

I'm not sure if this has been announced on here as a direct thread... but Skywest is hiring. I just saw the add post on a couple of sites. Check the company page. Mins were 1000/100.

Just showed up on Airlineapps today

Airline Applications

Incidentally, I added Skywest to my "targeted" applications today on airline apps BEFORE the post went up, and I got an email saying skywest is not hiring. About 2 hours later this post came up.

2nd this ?, is anyone receiving calls?
I've had my stuff in for 2 weeks, since the day they switched on in airlineapps.com (getting the "we're not hiring" auto email).

Also a friend (internal F.O.) foreword-ed my resume to HR and called to confirm, and they said they have both my resume and application.
How long does it usually take to hear something?

2300+ TT, 2000+ ME Turbine 121 SIC, 3+ years 121 exp. 2 types. And an internal rec.
No call yet.

Try Republic, just make sure to have your ATP certificate.

So has anyone gotten a call?

How about contact info for HR to followup, will this just **** them off, or maybe do some good?
PM Me,

PM Me,
I got a call for an interview. Had a friend walk my stuff in. 2100 tt, 1900 multi and 1800 turbine. Not 100% sure if I should do it though. Would hate to give up seniority with Piedmont.

All depends on where you want to live and what your career goals are. Fast upgrade is probably not going to happen at SKW.

But do the interview anyway, unless you've already done 4-5 airline interviews it will be good practice for a major airline someday.

Thanks! Yeah, i think this will be my 4th interview if I do it. A buddy of mine is 5+ year FO in SLC and claims that with the amount of hiring he doesn't see a problem upgrading in 2-3 years. I think I asked about that earlier and a lot of people just laughed at me and said more like 8 years. But even Eagle came down to a 4ish year upgrade right now.
