Default Northern States Aviation

Hey,

Thought I might post this. I have friend that got hired there this season. Here is the deal. They are an aerial surveying company out of Rochester NY. Their season is from Oct to May. They assign a pilot with an airplane (C-172) for the season and you travel the country doing survey work. Generally you fly about 1000hrs a season. Pay is pretty good. $450 a week salary with a $700 a week allowance for hotel and food. Comes out to about $53,000 a year with $34,000 none tax deductable. Allowance is not taxed. Not bad if your single and want to travel the country.
