good luck.
Ps. the upgrade times they promise you 6mo- 1yr, they are a lot longer than that.
It appears what was passed will not affect Great Lakes. It only affects EAS routes that have a major airport within 90 miles or less than 10 passengers a day. AFAIK, neither applies to Great Lakes.

Of course what do they consider a major airport? Either way, all of EAS will never be eliminated.

I was never promised an upgrade time. I can't upgrade for another 2 years anyway.

Well, that was pretty nerve wracking to see but the Senate voted to table it. Dickinson airport signs relief after amendment defeat | The Dickinson Press | Dickinson, North Dakota

You also know that if some EAS is cut, and Lakes decides to furlough, this DOES NOT nullify your training contract. Additionally, time on furlough does not count toward the 15 months. So you could get furloughed and still be on the hook for $7500 plus interest.

You'd have to be insane to go to Lakes in this environment.
