If you really want to fly in AK, chances are you'll have to start low on the totem pole. I once personally witnessed (company name withheld) a stack of lower forty-eighter resumes, that was eight inches tall, and included regional and mainline captains, all without Alaska time, get placed under one specific resume. The owner of that one specific resume had only about thousand total hours, but nearly all of it was in Alaska. Generally speaking, this is the way things work up there.

Generally, Bush pay is more than City pay when comparing apples to apples.
Hageland does use FOs on their 208s until those pilots have 1200tt and/or enough Alaska time to be Captains in their own right. Last I heard 208 FO pay was $11/hr. Flight hour estimates are just that, estimates. Not too many pilots in the bush max out (1400 hrs) anymore, at least that I have heard.
I'm not sure about Era/Hageland, but most Bush-based single pilot Captains look at between $50,000 and $70,000 their second year. If I remember correctly, Grant pays nearly $90,000 for their third year Captains.

Hagelands pays a daily rate of 360.00 I believe, and any flying over 80 pper month is paid above and beyond at at hourly rate. I hear the guuys work 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off...
They do indeed have 1900's as they just took delivery of an additional 1900C....

Hageland pays 220 per day in the 207, 250 in the Caravan, 300 in the twins. All have $10 a day raises each year for a max of 4 years. Overtime anything flown over 4 hr per day average is 30 per hour in the 207, 60 in the Caravan, 80 in the twins.
Caravan co pilots can have very low total time, you can fly 900 hrs plus in a year but make $67 per day, no overtime. Work more days is the only way to make more money.
I'm not sure what 1900 FO's are making.
They need to hire 20+ pilots last I heard.

You have a shot for sure, if you don't mind flying a 207 for a while. I can put you in touch with one of the guys doing recruiting, if you would like. PM me.
