Memphis did you get the email with flight and training schedule for Saab? Where are you flying out of?

Hey everyone! I'm also in the Nov 10th class. I got a Q400 training syllabus in my inbox today, thought that was interesting. I was expecting it'd be the saab. After reading this thread, I guess I shouldn't anticipate staying in it, but hey, here's to hoping!

Maybe someone can answer this but I thought assignments were based on seniority. If that is case how are some being told they are on Saab and some are on q400 when seniority is date of hire then date of birth

My only guess is they only have so many Q spots for our class, so it'd have to be based on age.

What do you mean. Yes I got the schedule. And I'm flying up to Minneapolis from Memphis Via Denver. And I have no clue what my domicile is.

I couldn't say for sure, but I know there have been guys coming through with multiple previous failures. I don't think they make a huge deal about it - they might scrutinize you a little more throughout the interview process - but it's really how you conduct yourself during the interview/sim eval. that will give them a complete picture of what you would be like as a pilot. Plus, your time is what they want. If you know someone internally, there's probably a good chance you could get an interview.
