Yeah, man, take a look.

When you open up your application, take a look under the links to see if you have a link that says View The Directions. There's nothing really for you to view or do, it does say the application has gone to a senior reviewer. Other than that, it's just more of the wait and see for a phone call.

Obviously, my Jedi Mind skills aren't as developed as I'd like to think.

Yep, it's there. I would never have noticed that. So, it just means the app is getting reviewed, right? Aren't they all?

Hey Lobaeux, I also noticed I had a "Senior Executive" from a Phoenix, AZ company looking at my LinkedIn profile. Didn't you say US Air uses a 3rd party hiring firm? It said "Self-Employed." Coincidence?

My app from 2011 says not selected. I was planning on seeing them this week at the job fair. Is this a waste of time because I didn't re-apply (I didn't realize I had to re-apply during a different window)?

I wouldn't think it would EVER be a waste of time to get some face time with them at a job fair.

Yeah, it's a third-party recruiting company. I'm not sure if they just handle the application software, or actually review anything. I'm sure it's all done at Airways' direction though. Can't be bad right, someone looking at your LinkedIn profile. I do keep my Facebook page private though.

I agree! Can never be a bad thing to see folks at a job fair. You never know what can happen. Do you have more than one app in at Airways? Mine all say under review, but doesn't mean much.
Good luck and don't give up the fight!
Cheers!

I only have the one app in. I tried to update it a few months after I submitted it but I couldn't figure out how to update it. I didn't realize they required you to submit an application again.

The company that runs the recruiting software for USAirways was recently updating the "update resume" feature. If you still have an open application on file I would try updating again, if that fails there is an e-mail floating around you can try for technical support, they are usually pretty good at getting the issue resolved.

Any ballpark and how long it usually takes for the 4th 'step' to show up on the site? I applied a month ago, and don't have that, yet. Thanks.
