When you open up your application, take a look under the links to see if you have a link that says View The Directions. There's nothing really for you to view or do, it does say the application has gone to a senior reviewer. Other than that, it's just more of the wait and see for a phone call.
Obviously, my Jedi Mind skills aren't as developed as I'd like to think.

My app from 2011 says not selected. I was planning on seeing them this week at the job fair. Is this a waste of time because I didn't re-apply (I didn't realize I had to re-apply during a different window)?

I wouldn't think it would EVER be a waste of time to get some face time with them at a job fair.

I only have the one app in. I tried to update it a few months after I submitted it but I couldn't figure out how to update it. I didn't realize they required you to submit an application again.

The company that runs the recruiting software for USAirways was recently updating the "update resume" feature. If you still have an open application on file I would try updating again, if that fails there is an e-mail floating around you can try for technical support, they are usually pretty good at getting the issue resolved.
