Does your airline provides lodging, school and transportation to it's Pilots? I ask that cos the salaries are very low and cost of living in South Asia very high.

Yes, the company will provide accommodation. In fact, you can be based in either LAX, Anchorage or Kuala Lumpur.

Default May your pilots commute?

Sir

If based at LAX, does your company allow for communting, and if so, what type of deals have you worked out with US airlines to allow jumpseating, etc.?

Thanks

Greg

So the company is screwing us AGAIN by hiring drivers with no type rating and a higher pay than us. I guess he didn't mention to you guys that as a foreigner, you have to pay up 40% of the training bond value.

Let's see....40% of $160,000RM (1 US =3.78RM). Do the math folks.

Here are the real facts:

Accomodations?? Let's see....motels more like it in ANC and LAX. HKG...sub-par standards.
Maintenance.....let's buy spares when problems come. Aircraft were in good shape before this zoo bought them. They lack the manpower, the spares, and the upport from management.
NO jumpseating with ANY airline. You need to go back to your home country to renew your license or medical? You are on your own pennies and dimes folks.
Management? Control freaks and full of egos and lots of ex-royal malaysian air farce clowns to deal with. Absolutely NO PLANNING and management style who shift blame to all the employees when things go haywire. None of the so-called upper managment have absolutely have no clue what they are doing. All are only their to please the CEO being a "Yes Sir" clown.

Just ask around how many air turn backs we had since we started this operation.

Schedule is a big mess; dont expect to make any proper plans.

Should I need to go on? Check out their threads in PPRUNE and do a search on the Far East Forum. This company does nothing but drive out all the experienced, helpful, and resourceful personnel.

Better pull up your socks as competition is around the corner nearby HKG!!
