DFW job fair was a great experience. Best of luck to everyone who attended.

It looks like that the job fair in Dallas yesterday had 300 pilots interviewing for Spirit Airlines. Spirit had 6 recruiters trying to interview 40 pilots per hour. On the regional side there were 35 register people, but only 25 showed up.

P.S. My numbers may not be exact .

Just curious, how did your arrive at/guesstimate your figures? Thanks.

Thanks for the information. Edit: As I thought about this some more, I imagine most guys getting hired on at regionals are simply applying, not doing the job fair circuit. Maybe your coworker spoke to the attending regional folks and got an idea of applications the regionals are getting, e.g., lots, some, not enough. ???

Three guys that I work with went there yesterday. They all have 1200-1300 hours. They all left there yesterday with a interview date scheduled. They didn't mention anything about how the regionals are getting people.

Kind of sad for the regionals... not many folks there for them!

Maybe they should redo the business model and pay more?
