Is the upgrade time still in the neighborhood of 6 months to E120 CA and about 20 to CRJ CA if you have the time?

If you bid E120 CA, are you seatlocked for any period of time?

Side-note real quick; but what does seat locked mean?

Once you bid a seat, some companies will lock you in that position for a period of time, so you don't keep seat swapping and making them spend more money in training.

Same thing can go for a type of aircraft, you might be able to swap seats in your fleet, but can't bid outside your fleet for a specified period of time.

SKYW has had a couple of new hires go straight to upgrade in the EMB. The seat-lock is for one year before you can move seat/aircraft.

With the growth you are expecting with new a/c /new flying, is this( direct to EMB CA again) possible again??
