Default How long and what type?

Funny title eh?

Anyways Ive got a fresh ATP 1600 hours of that 52.7 multi.

I have been applying for the past week to some regionals and a bunch of charter ops with falcon 20's old lears etc mostly from the orange site.

How long and what did you guys find and take when first applying to jobs, how long for a response?

Cheers.

Well, the problem is, you are not going to be competitive until you have 52.8 multi.

Okay, in all seriousness, you will have a much harder time getting a decent charter job with such low multi-time than you will getting a regional FO position. It's an insurance issue, and the regionals need pilots so badly that a pulse is all you need.

It was nearly 20 years ago that I was in your shoes, but some things don't change much. Apply to all the regionals, and you'll get interviews and job offers. Do some research on here, talk to people, and make the best decision for you.

And if that doesn't work, get that multi time up to 52.8!

Yep thanks, well I already got a rejection notice from PSA yesterday dont know whats going on there. Have a friend who works at republic who wants to put my app in but that seems like misery. Skywest applied and waiting and thats about it besides a bunch of 135 companies on the orange site ( have heard nothing ) oh and im on airline apps as well.

I agree with other posters, ur lack of multi could be a problem at charter. GoJet will hire you tomorrow.

Whole hours only.....don't use decimals on your resume.

Good Luck!
