Congratulations!!
Jack:
That is great. Think you've gotten on with the best of the freight haulers. I'm jealous. Who is the AJ you referenced for the sim.? How long ago had you sent your application in? Thanks for any and all info.

Here is my story
I applied in November of last year before I had the time. I updated bi weekly my info. (I dont know if they really keep track on updates). I was fortunate enough through networking to find a gentleman who would sponsor me, however he told me that there was little he could do if I did not have anyone Ive flown with. Shear dumb luck! A guy that gave me my MEI checkride was with FDX, I found his number, he was kind enough to write me a rekk.
I got hired with 4200 TT with 1200 121 PIC turbine mostly Crj. I was one of the lower time guys there. Most were military guys who had flown heavies. There was one other 121 guy who had comparable experience. I would say that the rekk is really the only way to get in the door. One of the interview guys mentioned that they have over 10k apps on file so its really based on who you know.
Once you get the call. Please do the sim Prep with AJ in memphis. He is with emerald coast consulting. Great guy and gets you well prepared for the interview. Will tell you if you need more sim time or not.
The SBI and the interview were not hard but get some practice. I know a few guys I would rekk for the interview prep. Other than that its pretty str8 forward.
Any other questions please ask.

Thanks for info. I guess I'll not hear a word from them. Got lots of time and experience, but no contacts. Oh well, got a friend working on UPS for me. Maybe something will pan out there.
Best of luck to you. You got on with, what I think is, a really nice company. Best of all, you can get 30 years with them (and a big fat retirement check to go along with that!).
