Capn Sac, are there any summer intern FO opportunites for students of Bridgewater State College? several of my CFI students at the college expressed interest in this. Are you having a career fair there this spring? BTW I just started flight training at 9k, having a blast.

Hey sac (or anyone else working at cape air)...

How badly does cape need ATR FOs for guam? are they willing to reduce their 1000/200 standard down to say... 900/40? and do you know anyone based out there? how do they like it?

Also, I found the 1st year pay for the Twin Cessna PICs, but what can the ATR FO expect first year?? thanks.

You can contact [email protected] for the pay scale on the ATR.

The interns have been selected for the Summer and we are awaiting replys. There is currently no internship agreement with Bridgewater. We might want to revisit the bridge program we had established with them. You can contact [email protected] for information on that program.

Thanks,

Sack

I would love to take a LOA and fly a summer season on the Cape. It always looked like a lot of fun when I saw the Cape planes in BOS.

You're pretty useless too. Ever imagine that someone could want to fly for Cape Air and really experience the New England/Cape Cod area? Its a great company to work for. Believe it or not, the whole world doesnt want to work for CAL.

Aloha! JP
I found some info, I emailed a resume with a list of questions(to the email listed a few posts up) and they called me back right away (within hours) and answered every question I had, then emailed me an application... they sounded very interested in me, I thought I'd get an interview for sure, but since I've sent in the app they haven't contacted me again (just over a month)... Here's the info I got from them... (as of april 5th)

They are accepting resumes for intereviews that get you into a hiring pool, over the next few months they will pick from the pool and sent new FOs out there as needed. not a big operation.

Only 2 ATRs based there
11 crew (5 FO 6 CA)
INDOC at Hyannis
Sim training at flight safety in Houston (4 weeks)
IOE at guam
$2000 relocation assistance
18 mo contract

hope this answers some questions.
