Default STOP the negativity and lies

I've been reading QX posts for a few months now and have recently noticed an increase in negativity, lies, and unfounded gossip in this place.

Visitors here, like in any forum, have a variety of interests. While a few users actively participate, many others are looking for information, tips, or answers to questions regarding a prospect airline to join, and upcoming interview, class date, aircraft types and bases, reserve, commuting logistics, pay & benefits, union stuff, etc.

I accept and understand the fact that some people may be upset for not being able to received an offer from the company, or are simply unhappy employees for whatever reasons, that's life I get it. But let's keep in mind bad posts and messages don't benefit them, they just do a disservice to the legitimate users that want to learn something or share something with others.

Let's keep this forum a good place to visit and valuable way to connect with others. Venting on frustrations from time to time is okay, but be sensitive. If you are not a Horizon Air pilot, please don't act like you are.

By the way, I am not a company official, HR or recruiter, I am just a new hire about to start my training soon.

Thanks for reading.

You think it's bad on this forum? It's actually quite tame compared to... actually I'll withhold names.

What else do you expect from APC? It's full of keyboard warriors. Best way to avoid all the bullsh!t? Cut back on your APC visits/participation and enjoy the outdoors.

Been a Horizon pilot for quite some time. I don't see anything much inaccurate and if I do will comment on it. If a person wants to come here with blinders on YOU WILL get blind sided. I would think most people don't like that as an option. Go in eyes wide open and will do just fine.

Welcome to Horizon, good place and fun airplane to fly (even if you’re in the Q). With that being said, if what you’ve read here breaks your day the line will be much worse for you. Don’t take that the wrong way but know that negativity is just a constant in any regional. It is up to you on how to ingest it and carry on with your day. I tend to be a pretty positive person so I don’t let the real bad attitudes affect me. Good thing is most guys are still professional enough to do their job right. That lacked at a previous 135 company I flew for, which really aggravated me

Thanks! Don't get me wrong, the negativity does not affect me that way, the problem is that it overshadows the good things, especially the ones we want to learn, hear and put to good use. As far as the bull-crap goes, it is misinformation and a waste of time.

sssergio... First off, I hope you demanded the E175. Secondly, I look forward to hearing what you have to say after your first 6 months.
