Depends how long you’re on reserve for. Not including the time spent on reserve, it should take 14-16 months.

The time a pilot spends on reserve fluctuates. On the E175 it’s around 3 months.

Took me just shy of two years. Lots of bad months on reserve, albeit I was Seattle based in the Q. Once I held a line I was doing 70-80 hours a month. I’m worried for new hires getting hours especially in the Q as we are overstuffed in FOs

Respectfully, this is not accurate. November '18 hires have yet to hold a line. Looking possible for the next bid.

So 6-9 months. I stand corrected. It’s changed so many times since Horizon started flying the 175.

Have an interview coming up. Have previous 121 time and close to 1,000. Looking to be based in Seattle and wondering if I should go the q or jet with the potential to upgrade within 6 months to a year

We have a lot of senior FOs holding out for the jet upgrade, so if you want to upgrade quickly it's going to be the dash.

What is it like flying the Q for an FO? Are they getting much time? I heard Horizon was talking a class for FO's in October for the Dash 8. True?
