EmbraerFlyer,

I don't think the management is trying to "fool" anyone into applying for a job at the Air Group.

Dawgpilot,

I think it only applies to the GO, Ops Center, break rooms for mechanics, CSA's, and Rampers.

The crews can get it easy enough from the airplane, however recurrent ground might be a different story.

And crew rooms too! They've suggested we form a "coffee club" in which they will be generous enough to sell us the same coffee served aboard the airplane. Yes, we can form a club to BUY coffee from our own company.

I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT!!! They pride themselves in free coffee and other drinks. I can't believe that they took it from the pilots. That is just sick.

I came over here to check on the news about the furloughs. Come to find out, there isn't any news posted yet.

So I got my furlough letter today. Furlough effective November 10th. Anyone know how many letters went out?

Sorry to hear that. I'm in PDX maybe we should all get together and start a "Im a furloughed pilot" drinking club. Pay for a big van witha driver and do a pub crawl.

Must be a great place to work... if the big complaint is coffee! I understand that coffee is crucial believe me, im seattle born and raised... but its a good thing to hear coffee is takin a majority of the talk.

I would say that getting furloughed is a bigger complaint to me than coffee.

I don't think anyone here said that was our biggest complaint. There is plenty, that was just one example. One that I find quite comical really. Yeah, I think guys like Shaun getting his furlough notice is a much larger gripe. If they furlough as many as recently announced I'll be getting my notice soon as well.

Wasn't meant to be serious sorry if it came across that way... i am sorry to hear bout the furloughs im on the edge at my place and it is the most serious issue at many places. Best of luck to you all, if i had it my way in the past i would be on the bottom of the list up there but my interview kept getting cancelled.
