Thanks! Am I missing something or are upgrade times getting shorter?

You can upgrade on the Q immediately if you have 1000 hours prior 121 or applicable 135/91k. These people are laterals.

Thanks for the information. Assume I’m coming in with no previous time What’s the timeline to get to 1000 hours flying the 175?

About 1.5 years is average for any regional.

Immediately as in out of initial training? 5-6 months?

For anyone who was interested in Horizon's RTP (said to be announced "in the coming weeks" back in July, then said to be final in January) here is the latest update.

"Thank you for your email and interest in Horizon Air. We are still in the process of creating a Rotor to Wing program. We do not have an ETA on completion at this time. Please let us know if you would like to be added to the list of people that would like to be contacted once we are ready to launch the program."

Just passing the word along

I know someone who got an upgrade offer after being here maybe four months, and upgrade-eligible FO's who plan to hold off on the upgrade until they can do so into their base are getting phone calls and emails asking why they're waiting, so you can probably get an upgrade offer pretty fast if you have the required times.

Has anyone done one of these "behavioral interviews" for the Pathways program yet? Curious what type of questions they ask

Apparently it's essentially the same as the HR portion of the current Alaska interview gouge.

From what I've heard, the so-called "Meet and Greet" part of the process is actually a full-blown interview... so plan accordingly.

So I can't tell if this is a good time to try and get on with Horizon? From the past few posts it seems like they're aren't enough FOs or CAs, but that there are plenty of people in the training pipeline and no need for a RTP. True?
