Not to **** in your Cherio's, but you don't even have the 175 on your certificate yet, that takes about a year, there currently aren't any 175 delivery slots available in 2017 and there is no 175 sim time available anywhere in the world in 2016.
I have no idea what will happen over there, but 175's next year? Not likely. |

I've bought up the same concerns with some people here and these are my favorite responses: 1. AAG secretly placed the order with Embraer already. 2. Republic isn't doing so well, so maybe we'll get their E175's. 3. Manufacturers keep airplanes ready for immediate purchase for new customers. Bahahahaha! |
CRJ 900's are immediately available, are already on your certificate, you already have qualified pilots, sim time is available and right about now Bombardier is probably desperate for orders.
The AAG board meeting was last week. I wonder why there has been no announcement. |

Assuming AAG wants 175's over 900's so much that they will go at great lengths to get them, what are their options realistically? If they go with Skywest will they be able to fly them by early 2017? Would it be any quicker for them to get 175's if they went with Skywest?
|
Yes because we have the production slots and sim time.

The one time I'd say SkyWest has its mainline partner in a corner is this time. They'd prolly just as easily say no we'll just use the planes for Delta and United since those partners have a bigger stake in us.

I heard it is kind of a pig, compared to the 700? I've only flown the 700, but was told by those who had flown them all that it is in the sweet spot. The 900 is stretched too far, and therefore under-powered. |
