JB health insurance?

What is the health insurance like at JB? I hear it's not good and expensive. Who is the provider, and are there decent plans (PPO, etc.)? I'm conflicted about dropping in an app. Health insurance is vital to me because of a family member's situation.

Some facts would be appreciated... Name of provider, approx premium for family coverage, etc.

Not good and expensive.

I'll let somebody else fill in the details.

Also keep in mind as there is no contract those rates increase year over year.

Pretty ironic name for that website considering most pilots that come here had better health insurance at their previous carrier. I know I did. The good news is it's one of the top priorities of the negotiators and MEC.

Any TA that is void of hc improvements wouldnt pass a vote and the NC wants this to be a landslide vote in favor.

For those who have been here for multiple votes I'd say a significant turning point was listening to Barger and Maruster stating there would be no changes to the healthcare if the union was voted down. The vote failed and the healthcare changes came at an increase over 200%. That little decision changed a lot of minds about "culture".

Hopefully a TA will come sooner rather than later, so those rates will come down.

Any word on whether that section has been TA'd yet or not?
