Yeah, on one hand he says the toxicity is within "acceptable limits". On the other jetblue is spending money to mitigate them. Which is it?

Well think about it. If these airlines openly admit they are putting people in danger, think of the number of class action lawsuits that will come from this from every person who has ever purchased a ticket, ever. Instead they quietly do an engine change and deny its existence. This is Erin Brokovich type of stuff on steroids.
