Dude I know. It's like trying to tell a teenager you'll regret that in a few years... no stopping the determined mind.

I hear that. I have friends in the same position. I know however that a number of them don't want to or won't come here. For a number of reasons. Some guys only want to work for AA or DAL or Atlas... whatever. Right now there are plenty of qualified guys that may want to come work for us. All I'm saying is that the future may yield a much smaller pool of guys with that kind of experience that are willing to work here.

Do you think 2200 total, 2000 on A320(SIC),4yr degree and 2 internal recs gets you in?
Thanks

I think I have no idea!

All I can tell you for sure is I was gonna burn a blue dart on a guy and the CPO told me not to pull the trigger until he had 3500 TT. That was last winter. He got hired at Allegiant and is home based now doing day turns. I do t think he wants the blue dart anymore.

Wish I had more Intel for you.

Atlas? What the..?

Lol Atlas. I heard it takes like 5 years to break $100k on the 74 over there. Doubt people are choosing Atlas over JB unless they live in ANC.

Or he has no interest in the lifestyle that working at JB provides. Money isn't the end all be all. Take the horse blinders off for a bit.

Maybe he wants to travel the world vs the east coast.

You can travel the world as much as you like here. You can basically go somewhere every month if you wanted to.

Guys you can argue the semantics of it all you want.

The guy doesn't wanna work here. He wants a big plane. One or two legs and then off for a day or three. Work for 6-12 days and take two weeks off.

Even getting the 767 off the bat. To him is a better gig than sitting rsv in JFK and having to fly 4 legs in and out of lga or dca.

The grass isn't greener for everyone
