It would be nice to have it in the CBA that as soon as one pilot is furloughed, the ability to ADD from Opentime goes away (I think UPS had something like that in their contract?).

The thing about that is how much bargaining collateral is the pilot group willing to give up to get that into the CBA? And by "pilot group", I mean a majority enough to get it passed.
