Not all right-leaning people are fascists, or even have fascist tendencies. BUT, there is a distinct faction of the GOP that openly and unapologetically espouses fascist ideals. That's what upsets the rest of us, and it should upset you too, because anyone who doesn't call it out is tacitly supporting it. I think what most of us in the middle want to see is people in the GOP standing up and calling out the bad actors in their party and bringing it back to center.
As an example, I freaking hate the woke crap, doxing, etc., that goes on with the left side. If Joe Blow business owner down the street is a racist jerk, who gives a crap? Let him live. As long as he isn't hurting anyone, he is allowed to be an a hole. That's just life in a free country. We don't have to all like each other, and we don't have to all be kind. Is it nice to be a kind person? Sure, it's how I choose to live, but my way isn't the only way. And that's what I find annoying about some of those on the left. They feel like everyone has to live their way, or else. Come to think of it, so to those on the far right too. So they share that one. lol Our nation does not survive if we cannot find a way to keep the politics in the center, and shut down the extreme sides. Social media and the internet have completely destroyed our ability to do that. The only people who have voices are the extremes. Uh did you watch the never trump movement or the Lincoln project or Romney or Kinzinger or or or. There are tons on the Republican side that call out the other republicans. It’s never ending. Which GOP faction is fascist honest question. |

Which GOP faction is fascist honest question. I'm not saying that those people are "fascists." That's a strong word. However, I do believe that there are those in the party who are actual fascists, just like there are those in the Left who are actual communists. Still the far right checks many of the boxes on the "what it takes to be a fascist" checklist, and we should keep an eye on that. After all, the Germans didn't just wake up in a fascist regime one day. It's a process, one step at a time. I'd say those who deny that there was a coup attempt on January 6th, or who deny that the 2020 election was a fair election are teetering dangerously on that edge. Those are simply facts that any rational person should understand. The far right believing in the "big lie" is really terrifying. |
Next up: a religion debate! Let's get it all out of the way here instead of on the flight deck. 🤣

The faction that calls Mitt Romney a "RINO" or openly attempts/succeeds in ruining Kinzinger or Cheney's careers for simply holding people accountable. There was a time when good men on both sides would put aside the party, and stand unified for Country. That's what we need today. It is what Cheney and Kinzinger are doing. I'm a doggone registered Republican, and I freaking hate the current direction of the party.

The days of republicans clamoring for lower taxes while ceding our culture and safety is over. Was it scary for you when democrats claimed george bush stole the 2000 election or Hilary Clinton in 2016 or Stacy abrams in 2018? It’s only scary when republicans question the outcome. Too much joe scarbourgh bruh. |
