Ok I’ll bite. What value does this tradition hold?

I come to work because they pay me money, not for traditions, community, or because we are a team.

My tradition, community and team are reserved for my family and friends.

Don’t take this as being an endorsement for her suing. I think that is equally as stupid. I was the caboose in our class. I didn’t sue anybody.

Agreed completely. I think it was a dumb tradition and keeps getting worse. Aka bigger and bigger. But to sue was a typical response now a days

Hahahahahaha... Hilarious. And sad. And true.

But not everyone understands the value of compensation (see what I did there).

What 360KIAS does not understand or want to know but the company knows and tracks internal NPS of employees.

The largest change in NPS scores in all departments, companywide, from "promoter" to "detractor" is Flight.

The shortest time period to move from a 'promoter' to 'detractor' is Flight.

IOW the fastest and largest move away from "promoter" to "detractor" in the entire company is Flight. Followed closely by Inflight.

The only group that basically stays unchanged from new hire to the 2-year mark are part-time employees. Think the 3,500 or so part-timers in SSC (Salt Lake, the work at home reservation employees). Everyone else at the two-year mark has moved away from the 'promoter' to detractor side of the NPS metric.

The owl BS lasts as long as a fart in the wind. That is the only value of this tradition as the reality of Bluejet hits the entire department with weeks if not hours of hitting the line.

That 'problem' is not this or other sites creation out of thin air. It is not a small group of disgruntled crews. It's the entire department... them the facts. It is the business model and they simply don't care and really laugh the buts off at the one-offs that are loyal to the Articles of Incorporation in some dusty room in a cabinet in Delaware filed under the name New Air, Inc.

Days off? Haven’t heard anything on what kind of time off is possible. Coming from a regional where days off during training are rarities and going home is not possible.

Training footprint is 6 weeks ground/sim. Schedules seem to be 4 on/2-3 off. Plenty of days off.

How is the sim footprint?

Is there an FTD first? How many sims are there? Is there an MV and LOE?

8 total sessions in the FTD with 4 systems familiarization and 4 procedures training. 5 maneuvers sims plus 1 MV. 3 LOFT sim plus 1 LOE. 1 international sim for all and 1 Latin American sim for FLL crews.

Total is 8 FTD plus 11 sim including two quals. One extra if FLL.
