When I took UAL FCO IAD I listed right at the gate in FCO as I was bumped from AA. UAL said they didn’t charge jumpseaters taxes so I paid nothing.

Wow, that's very generous of UAL to eat the international departure taxes for jumpseaters....very unique.

I jumpseat all the time international and have never paid anything on any US airline to leave the US. And I’ve used all the legacy airlines....
