Thanks, buddy. Can you narrow it down to a particular date? I tend to delete most of the ALPA emails.

Being actively disengaged works some times but is generally not beneficial to your knowledge base.

Maybe you should skim them before you delete them... kinda like the cpo emails.

Point taken. Just wish the volume of drivel was less.

Well that’s life man. Sift through the sheet.

Every now and then you find a gem.

I've created rules for Outlook that sends a lot of spam directly to the Junk folder. Go to webmail.jetblue.com, log in, and in the top right search for "Inbox Rules"

Yes, my ALPA email goes to my personal email address, but still get a lot of junk in my email app because they are all together. Yes, I do have company email setup outside of my iPad. Flame away.

What amazes me is that there are so many pilots here that can’t even be bothered to read a weekly email from the union. An email you’re paying for by the way. The amount of money you could be leaving on the table because you do not know the contract nor the implementation schedule could also be significant. Did you know VDA pays 200% now due to a grievance settlement? Probably not since it was in an ALPA email you deleted.

Those of you that don’t know where to find information, or ignore it, are asking for the company to walk all over you and keep money that should be in your pocket.

I did the same thing in 2015. It’s the best move I’ve made yet. Keeps me happy to be here. The company propaganda machine is annoying and directed into there own “special” folders I created in outlook. Without the annoyance I’m much more positive, maybe ignorant at times but positive, lol... lol

That being said I do read the CP updates and the Union emails regularly. I recognize that I miss company information that may be useful but that’s why I have FO’s, to fill me in on the important company stuff..
