The hiring window is supposed to open this month, I’m wondering if they’re having enough issues with the application that they’re postponing the application.

Unsure. I have my app in from the previous window too. My buddy at vets in blue said that they are supposed to have a January window (or at least that's what they put out during their brief).

New careers site glitches

For me, the "additional questions" tab seems to randomly answer different questions yes or no each time I save the app.

Anyone else having this issue? The fact that the app is answering yes to me having an A320 type when I don't is concerning.

Well good to know I'm not the only one. I'd imagine that the powers that be are aware of it.

For those struggling with the new career site changing or not accepting their answers, I would switch web browsers if you can. I used Chrome initially and all sorts of weird things happened. I switched to Microsoft Whatever It's Called Now and it worked much better.
