From an MEC update that came out today.
“Your Uniform Committee is aware that A Cut Above (ACA) makes a blue shirt similar in color to our approved shirts but with a better fit and higher quality materials. We approached management to try to make ACA shirts available through the HPI website.
Unfortunately, ACA and HPI could not reach an agreement. For the foreseeable future, ACA blue shirts will not be available at the HPI website and are not an approved uniform item. We have been informed HPI is looking for a manufacturer that can provide shirts similar to those produced by ACA.
We have not been approached to see new designs or materials. Nor have we been asked to field test new shirts. Therefore, we do not know the status of this project other than that the Company is "searching." Unlike with the most recent uniform reissue, management is now required to work with our union if any changes will be made to uniform fit or materials used (CBA 26.V).”

It may not be approved, but I’ll continue wearing it. Those garbage shirts they sell at the company store are tailored to the overweight masses. Maybe JG will recognize the fact that I’m “out of uniform” the next time she rides. Based on the appearance of some of our guys, I strongly doubt it.
edit: I had to have the epaulettes altered to fit the standard airline shirt. It’s gone unnoticed.
