Default March 12th Hiring Event

Has JetBlue ever held a hiring event like the one scheduled for 3/12? Any insights/tips/comments? TIA

What hiring event are you referring to?

Is March 12th WAI? I think Jetblue still attends all the major job fairs/hiring expos. Plus they have their own with Vets In Blue.

No, this is a hiring event put together by the MEC & ALPA Fee-for-Departure Committee. It can be found in the ALPA FastRead sent out on February 6th. To be eligible for this event, you must:
  1. Complete ALPA's career-progression profile. (Note: The database was reset on February 1, so all pilots must fill out a new profile, even if you have done so previously.)
  2. Have current application on file with JetBlue. Submit application now.
  3. Meet the minimum qualifications for the interview process. Review qualifications.
  4. Register for the hiring event.
Spaces are limited, so be sure to complete the steps above. Selected pilots will be notified in the next few weeks.

On the webinar, they said that this is their 2nd one, with the last one being 3 years ago.

Is the hiring event similar to Vets in Blue (i.e. a job fair), or if invited, is it to interview as an FO candidate?

From what I've gathered, it's an invite for an interview on March 12th.

Just got the invitation for the video hiring, JetBlue is where I see myself. If any hiring conditions are known, please let me know.
