Commuting to a LCC is just a means to an end for me, I'm not going to be a commuting lifer. I was just wondering how commuting is in the short term, JB's commuter policy doesn't seem bad on paper.

That sounds like a terrible idea. Definitely do it. I’d definitely be eyeing an airline that is overall shrinking the seniority list this year, displacing people and parking a fleet, about to be going through a merger, is losing money, and best off all, introduces a commute to NYC or BOS where there’s a good chance you’ll have to sit reserve. Good luck!

I'd like to, but WN and NK aren't hiring at the moment. I'm looking at a forced upgrade at my current airline and I'd like to bail before it happens.

Southwest isn’t hiring?
