Unforeseen delays. Who could have known that 21 days after Aug 15th was Labor Day?! :p

It’ll be the last day after 5 or later. It always is, including the email on how lack of staffing, unforeseen circumstances, or whatever bull they come up with to justify it.

wouldn't even count out a cancellation for some of the 220 vacancies because the airframes are delayed again.

Was thinking the same.

Any specifics on the new A220 delivery schedule or how it has changed?

December effective vacancies are now March effective. Word from instructor I was flying with is the planes are delayed till whenever, nobody knows. Airbus doesn’t have parts to build them.

Seems as if they kinda already planned on that.

Since the first effective dates of the system bid was essentially may.

Everyone was kinda wondering why there was a 3 month gap that hadn’t existed in previous years.

They released it last year on Labor Day as well. And if I remember it was fairly late in the day. The email/results push has probably been scheduled for 6pm for over a week.

Are you sure about this? There are only about 6 or 7 more CAs between the Supplemental and System bid for 12/22 and last I checked they are all still on the schedule, including one for next week. Could've certainly changed in the last day but if so no one down here has mentioned it.

Re: deliveries...last word was Airbus is running 4 months behind, still expecting a decent number next year....for now.

that’s the info I got is all I can say….the delayed vacancies are correct, I talked to one of them. Far as the planes, that info comes from a well known and respected instructor at the school house, I’ve known him all my time here. He’s usually spot on for information that comes up in cockpit chatting.
