Yes wondering the same thing. My family lives in Naples and wondering how much I'll be able to get back during training.

You’ll see them plenty. Training is very user friendly.

They will give you 3 days pretty much automatically. More than that will require a visit to the CPO. IOE wait times are running from 2-3 weeks (E190) to 6 weeks (A320). Not sure whats happening on the 220. I don't think that there is much new training on that fleet due to delivery delays.

am I understanding that on the 320 it could possibly be six weeks after training to start IOE? That seems crazy. I won’t complain if they want to pay me to sit at home but wow!

correct. And not crazy when other places are months out for sims and months out for OE after that.

Have they been putting new hires with transition cpts? So you can sit in the proper seat the whole time? When I did the 190 upgrade it was like that.

that is normally the way it works or at least it’s supposed to

Random question from a NK person. Are your sim instructors seniority list pilots or can the company hire from the outside?

Many are and yes.

Definitely not always. You can be paired with a new hire instructor, who has to get initially qualified as a captain, so you'll be doing seat swapping.

Oct 19 class, haven't gotten any new hire paperwork or anything since the invite/background check emails. When do they normally send this stuff out?
