October bid awards were just posted, the most junior BOS 190 FO awarded a line was hired March of 2023. It’s very difficult to forecast what will happen for you as a junior BOS 190 FO in 2024. There were no displacements in the annual system bid, but there was a LOT of “bid out no backfill” negative numbers for the second half of the year. That being said, don’t fear the 190 for year 1. Pay is the same, no redeyes, traditionally a quicker path to seniority, and now with the added bonus of that you will eventually be displaced to a higher paying equipment. Expect Boston to be more senior than it has been due to company moving more positions to Florida. I expect the seniority of bases to even out.

As of today the junior BOS 190 CA is 7/14/21 DOH.

7/22 DOH will be in the seat by the end of 2023.
