BOS 190 going to be dropping for the rest of the year most likely? Could JFK 320 potentially be back before the end of the year?

Not really sure I understand your post. BOS 190 will be completely poof by 2025, JFK 320 has always been there and will continue to be in perpetuity unless the the company goes out of business . Are you asking what would be available to new hires?……….

If you mean is BOS 190 going to be the only thing available for new hires? No, I doubt it and yes, the rest of the fleet should pop up for new hire vacancies here eventually. They have a lot of 190 seats to fill and likely even more once the system bid closes in 4 days but at the same time we are getting rid of that fleet. They may very well choose to not fill those vacancies as A220s arrive but then again this place’s favorite hobby is to waste money.

Honestly, I’ve said this before however, don’t fear the 190. You will be in a much better seniority position and get paid the same on year 1. If you want to fly the Bus just bid off in just under a year or even easier, get yourself displaced as that will be coming too.

They have to assign the new hires something. I was talking a five borough aviator yesterday……(currently with a regional)
I felt the need to be honest in telling him you may not get JFK. He felt the need to be honest too and told me Thanks but No Thanks.

Does anyone know the approx time to hold a line on the 190 in BOS? I have an Oct class date, and trying to make the most informed decision.

Thanks!

I don't have the exact number in front of me but pretty damn quick. I would be surprised if you spent more than 3 months on reserve.
