Great stuff. Thank you for the info!

They'll probably address this at some point at the beginning, but....are wives/girlfriends allowed to visit? I suspect not, but figured I would ask. I haven't seen a training footprint/calendar yet but I'd imagine that's coming.

yea but not on the lodge area, get a hotel room off of Semoran road while they are in town. Really fair prices and a lot of food options. Make sure you get your wife a nicer room than your girlfriend.

What made regional training so much harder than JB?

Do any of you have insight on bases in terms of seniority progression? I'd be a commuter no matter what, so trying to see what the shortest path, bid-wise, to a line is.

BOS E190 is the fastest seniority progression by a large margin.

I've wondered about that. With the 190 being phased out, does it make sense to bid the 190 now, ride the speed of that seniority, and then leverage that to bid over to whatever 220 or 320 flying there is?

Or does it make MORE sense to bid 220 now? I understand how seniority works at my single-type regional, but not with disparate fleet types/changes like B6 is facing.

If seniority progression is your main goal then bid the 190. Yes the fleet is being reduced but it will be the fastest way to a line for the first year you're here. Bidding the 220 now just ensures that you'll be junior longer, since many 190 FOs (and some 320 FOs) will transfer in above you.

Terrible for jfk 320. I'm going to lose 3% relative seniority by Dec 2024

Go to American if you want seniority progression. Jetblue is not the place.
