The irony with this would be we couldn’t aquire spirit because some ticket prices would increase. If JetBlue gets parted out wouldn’t ticket prices increase?

Seems unlikely. They bought Virgin and then sold all their Airbuses because they wanted a "Proudly all Boeing" fleet, and most of the East Coast FOs and many of the junior CAs bailed to a legacy, all of which have better seniority progression and lineholding times currently. But if you are craving being displaced to an AS domicile - which I might remind you are ANC, LAX, PDX, SEA, and SFO - I guess you could root for an acquisition by AS.

Yep. But the DOJ (and a certain judge) doesn't actually live in the real world.

Why isn’t Arajet a vote option. Rigged ballot IMO.

He doesn’t have to buy it all only convince enough board members that what he wants is good for the shareholders. What’s good for them is great for him.

Agree, but if he is convinced he's gonna get a big payout then why not buy it all? I'm not saying it will happen that way, but if you knew you could buy a sweet Mazda Miata and sell it for a 50% profit wouldn't you want to buy the whole thing?

JB did indigo and Franke dirty by swooping in on NK. Chances are strong indigo snags JB and NK for a discount.
