The legacy carriers are lowering their wages!
Their cost will go down!
Then we will stay in the RED forever!
STOP THE MADNESS!!!

We need PAYCUTS NOW!
I think we should set a new standard in the industry and tell management we want to take a 35% pay cut to stay competitive! We cannot allow for legacy carriers to run the show forever. I think if we had the RJ pilots take a 50% pay cut, we could easily take out the Delta Shuttle. In fact, and this might be thinking outside the box a bit, but what if we volunteer to pay for the simulator time when we go back for recurrent we could save the company lots of dollars!

If this ends up helping the company maybe as a bonus we can get another nice pilot leather jacket for the winter.

Better yet. Set up a 403(b) Trust fund. Take the full pay, and donate 30 -35% of your pay and get a tax deduction for it?!!?!?
