Boston JetBlue reserve

Hey all,

I have tried to find info and read all the threads but I am looking to speak with a current jb employee Boston based about QOL and pay on reserve. I live 40 minutes away and would like a perspective on it before I apply. I currently drive 3 hours to Ewr as an FO. If anyone in the new England area could contact me that would be great as I have no desire to commute.

Thanks

Go United. Much better off long term.

Delta or United will have more opportunities and are bound by a cba. Food for thought.

Go with Delta!! Better pay, benies, retirement and guess what a CBA!!! It's funny how that works.

I was on reserve for a (small) stint in BOS. I also live 40 minutes away. I may be able to help you out.

Better off at UAL? How does this relate to the commute to BOS? I know several people at UAL and not one seems happy. Some of these posts make me think that there are actually people out there that don't even consider QOL, moral, or work environment when selecting a career airline.

My family comes first and with little kids at home I prefer not to be on reserve away from home. I would take less pay in the long run and see my kids than fly a 777. Aircraft doesn't matter to me, just QOL, then pay.

I agree with that. I got a job offer there in early 2008, thank god they stopped hiring before I quit the old job. When I flew out to Chicago to interview every employee I encountered (gate agents, FAs and pilots) had the same response. Why would anyone want to work here, was the underlying theme.
