Nothing but good things to say about the training center at jetblue.

Has anyone gotten notified for the May 26th class date? I'm hoping for a call (fingers crossed).

And please keep in mind. JetBlue will not teach you one thing in training. You will learn everything on your iPad. Not one thing. All they do is evaluate you. The initial course is not even an initial course. It’s considered a transition course. How on earth that got approved by the feds is mind boggling. Unreal
For those looking to join the reality is that JB training is simple with no tricks or traps and is more than manageable for a vast vast majority of folks with maybe an hour of reading ahead the night before each session then heading down for an IPA or out to the pool! Very relaxed for anyone who has a few thousand hours of jet time. |
The cape air guys who have never touched a jet have very few issues with B6 training. Do they teach you how to build the Jet? No. Do they teach you enough to be proficient in it as an operator? Yeah. Most guys don’t exceed the 25 hours of IOE largely because their schoolhouse training was more than adequate. There are on rare occasions some washouts. But it isn’t the training program that is the issue in those cases, in my opinion.

Good afternoon gents, just wonder what competitive mins are at JetBlue? Anyone know the next window to apply? I'm currently flying Part 135 but use to fly for the regionals for a little over a year. 2200 hours flight time and 4 year degree. Do I have a shot?

Ace Best advice- apply for the job you want and network as hard as you can. |

If you can’t pass training at JetBlue, you have no business flying an airliner. They literally tell you exactly what you need to know at all times. The most relaxed 121 program I’ve ever seen.

If you can't pass the training here, you either have no business flying an airliner ever, or just not yet. |
