Nothing but good things to say about the training center at jetblue.

Has anyone gotten notified for the May 26th class date? I'm hoping for a call (fingers crossed).

Nice first post!

For those looking to join the reality is that JB training is simple with no tricks or traps and is more than manageable for a vast vast majority of folks with maybe an hour of reading ahead the night before each session then heading down for an IPA or out to the pool! Very relaxed for anyone who has a few thousand hours of jet time.

The cape air guys who have never touched a jet have very few issues with B6 training. Do they teach you how to build the Jet? No. Do they teach you enough to be proficient in it as an operator? Yeah. Most guys don’t exceed the 25 hours of IOE largely because their schoolhouse training was more than adequate. There are on rare occasions some washouts. But it isn’t the training program that is the issue in those cases, in my opinion.

Good afternoon gents, just wonder what competitive mins are at JetBlue? Anyone know the next window to apply? I'm currently flying Part 135 but use to fly for the regionals for a little over a year. 2200 hours flight time and 4 year degree. Do I have a shot?

Used to be 4000TT-5000TT minimum, but the landscape has changed significantly. we are refreshing our interview group, and to my knowledge, no one has been hired--so not sure if anyone has a definitive answer.

Best advice- apply for the job you want and network as hard as you can.

I loved learning on the iPad.. who wants to listen to someone talk for hours and hours.

If you can’t pass training at JetBlue, you have no business flying an airliner. They literally tell you exactly what you need to know at all times. The most relaxed 121 program I’ve ever seen.

Basically 100% true. Yes, they don't hold your hand building the airplane. They don't hold your hand and teach you basic or mid level aviation/airline operations/operating norms. But if you have a strong foundation of skills, which you should when you get hired, they teach or provide you with everything you need to be successful in a clean, modern, low stress environment.

If you can't pass the training here, you either have no business flying an airliner ever, or just not yet.

If the next class is May 19, wouldn't that put the following class on June 2? I thought it was every two weeks?
