I was in December 1 group and just wrapped up the background check--it's been sent to JetBlue for final analysis. The reason I know this is because I called them (Sterling) every couple of days to check up on their progress... "can I be of assistance in any way?"

I have heard that sometimes little things will hang the process up and all that's required is a little push to get things moving again.

Worked for me (so far).

Dec 15th here. Former Army/current regional guy. 8/20 done with Sterling. Hoping the rest of phase 2 goes smoothly. Merry Christmas and hope to see you all in the Spring.

What exactly does 8/20, 6/18 Sterling complete mean? Understand it is for Phase II background checks, but what do the numbers indicate?

Everybody has a certain number of items to check on their background, depending on how many jobs, and other reference material that need to be checked. If you look at the email you got from Sterling, there is a web site where you can check your progress. I have 21 items in my background check, and I have had 19 of them complete for some time now, so I am 19/21. I am going to all Sterling today to see if I have stalled.

We all have a lot to be thankful for!!! I was really humble by the quality of folks interviewing with me on the 15th. Everyone I met was top-notch and JetBlue looks awesome! I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity!!! I look forward to getting to know all y'all!

15/20. Slowly but surely.

14/16, so close! Been averaging about 1 per day.

Went from 15/20 since the 31st to 18/20 today. Curious what the last two are and hoping they come quick.

They are place holders, doesn't necessarily mean you have 20 checks. You will get a stage two complete email shortly.

Are we sending the "phase II complete" emails out? I still haven't officially passed phase II and I've been here a while.

24/27 here. Dec 1 interview.....

Guess it's hit or miss, 50/50 get it.

Showing 18/20 complete. Called Sterling to see what that means and they said everything is complete, but they are waiting on one thing back from the FAA that can take up to 90 days (normally 30-60). They also said JB will give people class dates while waiting for that one packet if everything else is complete and they decide to hire you. So back to patiently waiting. I was surprised the background check was (mostly) completed this quickly, especially given the holidays. Good luck to everyone.

Got mine 2 weeks after I started training.

December 1 interviewee... 18/20. I got the same response. Everything is complete except for the FAA search.

I was Dec 1, and they are waiting on the FAA search.....

4 years still waiting to see if I got past phase II, maybe after I am done my upgrade training, yeah maybe. :)

Are you guys all done with the checks? If so any news on possible classes for us? I'm still waiting at 17-19

Did you happen to get a Phase 2 complete email before this call?

No, I didn't. I called Sterling 2 weeks ago to check on the status of my background check and they said it was complete/ had been sent to JetBlue. The first call I got was the offer of a class date.

How many did they say to expect in class? Keep them coming! and congrats!

Also in the Mar 2 class, 8am interview slot from Dec 15. This class is supposed to be the biggest so far this year hopefully that trend continues!

Great news! I was a Dec 15 interviewee as well. From the best I can tell, the background check is done. I'm a retiring mil guy, so I told them at the interview I had to wait til June for my terminal leave to start. Ready to get started as soon as possible!!!

Dec 15 mid morning interview. Got the call this morning for March class. Sounds like a big class.
