If you guys want to clean the plane go for it I don't care. I just enjoy the arguing that has gone on. And I agree with you on everything you mentioned that is wrong with DALPA. Sorry for sticking my nose where it shouldn't be.

Don't be. I started the food fight of a thread out of an abundance of frustration, triggered by a recent coworker. I think the issue is any professional pilot's business.

For the record, a few years back JB did finally specify that cabin cleaning fell outside pilots' required duties. The issue I have now is the years of expectations it fostered with some (not all) of our back-end crews, as well as some guys' purposeful ignoring of our MEC's very clear requests that we uphold the profession by not performing that particular extra-curricular task. We are, btw, fully encouraged to continue to engage our customers and other workgroups in many other productive, humanity-enhancing ways.

Also, with many friends that have escaped RJ hell to make to your list, UA, AA, etc, I'm fully rooting for you guys to be successful. I doubt guys on the wrong side of the lost decade are going to vote to sell their jobs anytime soon.
