Pass riding with checked bags?
I've never used passes before.
I'm giving some passes to family members. What do I (they) need to know about flying standby with checked bags? Is it uber verboten? Thanks. GB |

On Jetblue I know for sure that the first checked bag is free. I think the second one is too but I'm not positive.

Buddy passes get free bags as well. Only caution I give to the pass riders is pack what you need for one day at destination in case your bag doesn't make it. Sometimes bags are held as they were cleared a seat last minute.
