Default JCCF Contributions

I sincerely hope that everyone has contributed whatever they can to the JCCF fund. Just think about not being able to go home, have nothing left of your life but what you were able to carry away before the storm hit. Your pets may be missing, and having to deal with the 'government programs' and insurance companies.

And just to stay with the usual tone and subject on this board, whatever you contribute to the JCCF, Dave and David have been matching 1:1 out of their own pockets. So if you believe in all the 'conspiracy theories' that are expounded on this forum so often, then you should contribute big time to get your own 'pound of flesh' from management.

Hopefully a JetBlue fund will be created for us to contribute direct to the Red Cross like we had for the Tsunami.

Count your blessings and contribute to help those who got caught in the path of Katrina.

B6 you just don't get it! The devastation that is upon us is serious business and a great tragedy! Your arrogance to drag this disaster into the trenches of these forums is juvenile.

You are truly unbelievable!

Anything else sir.

B6 you really need to get over yourself. Turning this into an us and them is petty at time like this.

Default naturally I expected this responce

Maybe I should have waited for the negative anti-management comments but thought I'd be proactive. I guess it touched a nerve huh??

I expected this responce from you two especially. The comment about the 'conspiracy theorists' was to thwart the inevitable comments from the likes of you two about management expecting the labor side of the company to open their wallets without management doing the same. I brought up the fact that Dave and David match contributions just to point out what great leadership we have here. Of course it was taken wrong

I made my contribution first thing this morning. I'm not bringing anything to this forum except a reminder that we who were not affected by the storm should count our blessings and fork over some cash to help out. And contribute till it hurts, which I did.

You two read into my comment what you wanted just as expected. The fact that this forum can be described as 'the trenches' shows your mentality and how anything said is turned into a slam or a fight.

2-Blue your response is juvenile like all that you post here. But at least you actually said something instead of complain just to 'hear' yourself complain.

ICON: my comment doesn't turn this into a petty us vs them 'thing' unless you think that way. And you do, so that is what you focused on.

Now: did you contribute?? or just slam me for mentioning the crisis here?? Do you make regular monthly contributions to the JCCF??

B6 Guy,

How in the world can you compare my concern over the FO scheds being late to my contributing to JCCF ( which I've donated to since I started). Just the fact that you would combine the two into the same thread makes me loose all respect for you. Now either you are blind, dumb or both. How many times have I stated that I like Jetblue and enjoy coming to work? When did I state that there was a conspiracy? Thank you for telling us about the crisis, we would have missed that if it wasn't for your insightful post. Telling the world you gave your $2 on a message board is lame. The rest of us would rather respond with offering assistance to friends and family along with our donation. Lets let this absurd thread die. Get a life.

Default Good intentions, gone wrong

OK, I got off on the wrong foot here, I had intended to start a thread about contributing to the JCCF and hopefully to the Red Cross.

Like I said above I anticipated some negative spin to my post, and attempted to head it off early.

Well it apparently was not the right thing to do, I should have just left it alone.

So I appologize for starting off on the wrong foot.

I can only claim temporary insanity after watching the news with the looting, car and truck-jackings of hospital supplies, shooting at relief workers and police and general chaos.

Sorry, B6Guy
