It's not bad commuting on them. I haven't had to do it in a while, but the terminal is on the south side of the airport across from the port. If I remember correctly there is a bus stop nearby that will take you to the terminal. I think the there is an enclosed stop with a phone for you to call to get picked up. Bear in mind this has been at least 2 maybe 3 years since I've done it. Maybe someone else has better/more current info. If you're going to go to a crash pad there are a ton of cheaper cab companies around that would pick you up there.

Uber around BOS airport is very reasonable. $8 will get you to the terminal from the FedEx facility and UPS is over there too. The bus is also an option but the $8 is worth it vs. freezing your @$$ at the pick up spot, ask how I know. I've rode with FedEx many times over my career, they are extremely reliable to really get anywhere you need to go. The overnight part can suck but they'll get you there. They have nothing but big, heavily equipped airplanes to get in with any weather. Add the fact that you can reserve a seat 24 hrs in advance and it's yours, just cancel it if your not going to use it because somebody else could need that seat to get to work.

$6 pretty much anywhere you want to go. These guys run when EVERYBODY else shuts down in the snow.
VERY reliable and quick. If I call them while getting dressed I barely have my tie on when they get to the Crashpad. I don't know when they sleep. Independent cab drivers who keep Jetblue in business during the winter.
But they do hate each other
