Pea 2017
Imagine PEA 2017 was in the works....
Based on our peer set last time, what would we be looking at rate-wise this time around? I wonder if this was the "low ball" offer.... I know I'm just talking rates and not all other things.... |
Better work rules are coming.
We hear you. jetblue pilots don't wanna be paid the most... they want to be paid the longest. Delta is a failed model... they'll be furloughing soon. 12/yr CA 220 12/yr FO 135 |
I'm new to this, and not sure if you are kidding. Is Delta really a failed model? If so, why? And why would they furlough pilots rather than just not hire?

12/yr CA 220 12/yr FO 135 I think they'd be higher based on all the other contract raises. I'm not sure what delta hiring/ firing has to do with anything but I guess you felt the need to bring them up? |

That would be the company's position.

So you think the 2017 rates we get soon (Airbus CA $220 FO $149) would be the hypothetical PEA 2017 rates?

From the "soon-to-be-furloughing" Delta new 2017 rates: A321 12-yr - $266.52/182.04 A320/19 - 12-yr $255.84/174.75 Also, we are still commanding a 7% revenue premium over the competition. Hardly a sign of a "failed model." But, I'm hoping that is a TIC comment...certainly your management doesn't actually think that? |

I hope for your sake those rates are higher.

Blue jet has always used aug of the current year to bench mark next years rates. SWAPA and DAL and UAL had not ratified new rates at that point. |

You think the company's current position on delta would be that they're failed? Uhhh. You really swung and missed on that one.

They would say DAL is mega carrier and we are not.

They would say that we will be shooting for industry average, standard.
DAL, UAL, SWA are not in your peer set. Look to Frontier, Spirit, and AA 190 rates... that's your peerset. Allegiant isn't in our peer set either... they have a unique model, it's failing too like DAL. These are the words of the DR. This is what was involved in a PEA. you don't get to have a voice. they tell you what you're going to get. Take it or leave it. The whole values system and committee structure was built to give you the perception not the reality of having a voice in any of the matter. and yes of course the previous post was sarcasm, with a touch of truth. those were words fed to us my managment. |

I thought it was funny. Some evidently haven't been here long enough to remember what was said during the last one. Rob M sitting in crewrooms for hours talking to pilots. I think that's all he was allowed to do before he left.

Someone should post the MWW video stating how they duped the pilots once again into voting "NO".
