That is a very low number only 75-100 a year. My regional is hiring ~ 65/mo and upgrading about 30/mo and we are barely keeping up with attrition. I'd say easily 50 leave a month and most are Captains. Many are going to LCC and others to Legacy or Cargo.

Hey again, I apologize if anyone has hurt feelings. I am happy for the opportunity yet I'm not going to look the other way when disappointed when others talk down on someone for no reason. If someone has an issue with it, I'd rather talk in person and not rant poorly on others on some forum. I'm sure you both are great people but if I make a statement about the attrition at my regional, there is no reason to start talking crap about it. Everyone starts somewhere. I've seen poor attitudes in the military and in the Airlines. If you just have a face to face conversation with a few beers, it allows both to see eye to eye on one another's perspectives.

Everybody take a deep breath. I don't think he cared that you were talking about your regional. I think he took exception to comparing JetBlue to a regional. That's all.
