Disregard, it was the groundspeed (which is also impressive for westbound.) FL was 380 and i mixed them up. Congrats on having the 1st one on the property, and hopefully more to follow

I was wondering if anyone had any update on up coming classes. I know of the one 6/24 and 7/15. But curious of the August or September classes.

I don't think even the Co. know for sure. The June and July classes were cancelled and then just reinstated with 1 for each month, small NH & upgrade's. There is such a backlog with people waiting on IOE they have been trying to clear that rather than keep adding to it.

767 New Hire Classes were cancelled...I'm assuming it's for our crazy OE backlog...but also probably using the sim time for ETOPS training for our current pilot group.

Why do you need a SIM session for ETOPS? Just curious, I've done it at two other airlines and never need SIM time to complete the training.

Is that for 767 only or are they hiring into other fleets (747, and likely the 777)

How long is the wait for 747 familiarization flight and then IOE? I heard it was ~2 months about a year ago but with the big classes of ASA guys being done hopefully it has been trimmed?

We have to do an ETOPS LOFT in the SIM.

1.5-2 months seems to be a common number. You can fam flight as soon as you finish training. But line-pay starts after a fam flight, you don’t have to wait until the end of IOE. So get a fam flight, go home, enjoy the paid guarantee from your sofa until you get the call for IOE.

ABX throws one in every now and again on a recurrent LOFT...its good to see. As an initial it would not be as helpful....after 10-15 crossings it would be useful.
